The University
recognizes the rights of an individual to his/her privacy, therefore,
personal information will not be released without the consent of the
employee.
Information regarding
the whereabouts of University employees or former employees will not
be released to external callers. In the event that an external caller
is looking to locate an employee or former employee or to verify any
other personal information about the employee or former employee, the
human resources office will forward this information to the employee
involved should the employee choose to return the call.
Personal information
is given or verified if prior permission has been obtained from the
employee. To arrange for confirmation of one's own employment or salary,
the employee must send a request in writing to the human resources office
specifying the information to be confirmed and to whom the information
may be released.
