Name: University Closing Between Christmas and New Year's

The normal operations of the University close down over the Christmas period with only designated, essential services continuing to operate. The University allows staff members the full time off between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day inclusive. The number of days off between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day, excluding weekends and statutory holidays, will be deducted from the employee's vacation allotment. The actual dates for closure will be determined by the University and communicated to employees by November 1.
