Bursaries Created

Millenium Bursary Program

Attention all Alumni, the Millenium Bursary Program which has been funded by donations from alumni, faculty, staff and friends of St. Thomas University is now in place and will be awarded this academic year 2000-2001. The primary objective of these bursaries is to provide financial assistance to students in financial need. A number of bursaries will be awarded annually to students registered full-time at the University. Lillian Chippin Memorial Fund

The family of Lillian Chippin, long-time resident of Fredericton, who passed away in October, 2000, has set up the Lillian Chippin Memorial Fund. The Bursary is to be awarded annually to an Education or Social Work student who demonstrates financial need.
