Welcome to the fall edition of Connections. It is great to be back at St. Thomas University in a completely new context, as your Alumni Affairs Officer. My goal this year is to get out and meet alumni and find out how you can become better connected to St.Thomas University. Since I am new to this job, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to hear what you expect of me and your Alumni Board. I would like to encourage alumni to plan a visit to the campus to see all of the changes and to meet with old friends and perhaps make some new ones. The Alumni Office is located on the top floor of George Martin Hall, room 210, and visitors are always welcome. There have been many great events this year, such as the
very successful 3rd Annual Golf Tournament in September, grad receptions
held in the spring and much more. December 14 is the date for our Alumni
Christmas Party at “Class” University Lounge located in the
Forest Hill Complex. We hope everyone can join us at this event which
begins at 4 p.m. The Annual General Meeting of the Alumni Association
has also been scheduled for March 23 at the University. There are several
positions on our Alumni Board and we hope that all interested parties
will come forward and get involved. |
