The St. Thomas Student Alumni Association was established as a student organization that promotes STU spirit and life-long community service for students and grads. The group had an extremely successful year. The STU Revue was held January 28th, the evening of St. Thomas Aquinas Day. The proceeds raised from the sold-out house were donated to the food bank. The line-up of talent was impressive. Other successful endeavours were regularly scheduled movie nights, distribution of faculty appreciation cards, and participation in an Atlantic student alumni conference at UNBSJ. Their latest project was organizing Stress Relief Kits for students available the week prior to exams. A well deserved treat! These were ordered by parents through a mail campaign, the student alumni association initiated in February. Parents were able to write their son or daughter an encouraging note.
