Welcome to the spring edition of Connections. My first six months in this position have been really exciting. The Gala Dinner and the Annual Giving Campaign were big projects that gave me an excellent introduction to you, the St. Thomas Alumni and friends. It was a pleasure to have met and spoken to so many of you as well as to hear the stories that make up your St. Thomas memories. The summer months will include more visits as we plan trips to your communities. Look for us at alumni receptions in both Moncton and the Miramichi Irish Festival this summer.

As you will notice from this edition of Connections, there is a lot to share. One of the most popular sections, New & Noteworthy, is full of great things you are doing. Please keep those updates coming in as your adventures and accomplishments are interesting and often times inspirational to others. St. Thomas alumni and students are truly making a positive impact throughout the world.

St. Thomas and the Alumni Association want to offer you an oppotunity to be more involved with your university by mentoring a current student, hosting a reception or information session in your area, speaking to current students, contributing to Connections, joining the Alumni Association Board or helping with reunions. Through these activities or others, the feeling of a greater St. Thomas community will be much more evident to you personally.

As always, please feel free to contact the Alumni Office at any time if you have any questions, comments or concerns, or just drop in, room 206 George Martin Hall.
