Funding from the Campaign has supported the construction of the University’s new professional studies building - Brian Mulroney Hall, scholarships and bursaries, the Fredericton 80+ Study, and the departments of criminology, gerontology and journalism. To recognize our many supporters, a donor wall is being erected to permanently recognize contributors to the Campaign. The wall will be located in the first level common area of Brian Mulroney Hall. Check it out! The Dalton K. Camp Endowment, led by Honourary Campaign Chair, Senator Norman Atkins, has hit the $1.0 million mark. Launched last summer, the endowment will fund a journalist in residence, an annual lecture, student awards and an internship program. The campaign committee is working hard to reach their $1.5 million goal by mid-year. As we enter the final months of the Campaign, we encourage you to honour your pledges, respond positively when one of our students call or if you haven’t given yet, please do it now. If you would like more information on the Campaign, the Dalton K. Camp Endowment or one of other programmes contact Bob Edgett, Director of University Development at 506-452-0512 or edgett@stu.ca. |
