TRAVEL AND ACCOMODATIONS

Conference Hotel

The Delta Fredericton Hotel (formerly Sheraton Fredericton) is thrilled to be the host hotel for Narrative Matters 2004. A block of rooms has been aside for the conference at the rate of $109.00 single/double plus taxes in Canadian funds.

When booking your accommodations, please indicate to the reservation agent that you are attending the Narrative Matters Conference. You may book your room by calling the hotel directly at 1-888-462-8800 0r 1-800-268-1133, or you can go directly to http://www.deltafredericton.ca/matter and book a room yourself in the block of rooms set aside for conference delegates (at the rate of $109), however, you must book by April 20, 2004.

Ground Transportation
A variety of rental car agencies are located at the Fredericton airport. Shuttle service for conference delegates to and from the airport is also being arranged. The SMT Bus terminal is located in downtown Fredericton. Delegates traveling by train are advised that the nearest passenger train stations are in Miramichi and Moncton, 2 hours away, thus requiring bus transportation to Fredericton. Delegates who require shuttle service or who have other questions regarding transportation are advised to e-mail Narrative Matters prior to the conference: narr-mat@stthomasu.ca
