March 26, 2004 Excellence in Teaching Award One member of the St. Thomas University faculty is annually presented with the Excellence in Teaching Award for demonstrating outstanding talent in teaching and tutoring students. Candidates are nominated by their students and colleagues. The recipient will be announced at Convocation on May 10th. The nominees are, from left: Dr. James Gilbert-Walsh (Philosophy), Dr. Michael McGowan (Human Rights), Dr. Kim Fenwick (Psychology) and Dr. Cecilia Francis and Dr. Omar Basabe (Romance Languages)
