Student Union fees are $181 per year if you are studying full time. Part-time students pay a percentage of Student Union fees, based on the number of courses they're taking. "My immediate concern in returning to full-time studies was how was I going to be able to support myself financially while maintaining full-time status as a student? The individuals within the administrative office were very helpful in answering my questions about finances and helped to guide me to the appropriate resources. I have been fully supported by Canada and New Brunswick Loans and Bursaries, and without the governmental support, my four years here at St. Thomas University would not have been an option. I am very proud to say that I have been awarded several scholarships and bursaries since beginning full-time studies. In addition, I was awarded the University Medal for Academic Excellence in the Bachelor of Arts programme at the 2001 May convocation. This year I am enroled in the Bachelor of Social Work degree programme, which I will complete in July 2002.
