St.
Thomas University currently offers a Bachelor of Applied Arts in three
areas: journalism; criminal justice; and gerontology. Applied arts programmes
differ in substance from the B.A. programmes in that they combine the
study of liberal arts with technical training.
Our
applied degrees are all "articulated" programmes in that each
is offered in partnership with one of the campuses of the New Brunswick
Community College. Students in the B.A.A. will enrol at St. Thomas for
part of their programme and at the appropriate community college for
the rest. Upon completion of the course of study, students are normally
awarded two credentials: a St. Thomas Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree
and a diploma from the community college. |
