Students Living Off Campus & Transfer Students: New to STU?

If you are a student living off campus or a transfer student, we strongly recommend that you participate in as many Welcome Week Activities as possible. After all, Welcome Week is not only for the students living on campus, it is for every student new to STU’s Fredericton campus! Getting involved with the events will help you meet new friends and become more familiar with the campus itself. Please plan to purchase a Welcome Week Kit from the Students’ Union so that you can participate in the all of the special events taking place during the week. We hope that you will take part in Academic Transition Day and the T-Pin Ceremony on Wednesday, September 8th and Fredericton’s Community Welcome Celebration on Thursday, September 9th. Please note that on Tuesday, September 7th Student Affairs will be hosting The Amazing Hunt for all students living off campus. This event promises to be an exciting and fun time! If you plan to participate, please meet in the STU courtyard for 3:00pm. You may also be interested in the Culture Shock Walk taking place on Saturday, September 11th.
