Culture Shock Walk

The Culture Shock Walk, led by St. Thomas’ English and Drama Professor Ilkay Silk, is a great opportunity to explore off campus and experience the cultural atmosphere of downtown Fredericton. The foot tour will begin at St. Thomas, with the first stop being at the famous Boyce Farmer’s Market for a late breakfast. This walk will also visit places such as the Playhouse, the Lord Beaverbrook Art Gallery, City Hall, NB College of Craft and Design, Gallery 78, Officers’ Square, the Legislative Assembly Building, Gallery Connexion & the NB Filmmaker’s Co-operative, just to name a few. Truly, the Culture Shock Walk is the best way to familiarize yourself with all the fantastic things the City of Fredericton has to offer. Anyone interested in participating in this tour should meet at the Black Box Theatre, in James Dunn Hall, on Saturday, September 11th at 11:15am.
