Letter from the Editorial Assistant The Learning and Teaching Development (LTD) Committee has enlisted the aid of the faculty of St. Thomas University to publish another edition of the faculty’s newsletter. The LTD Committee and I, would like to thank those of you who have contributed articles to this issue. I am a fourth-year journalism student at St. Thomas. I have used the skills I have learned from this program to design this newsletter. I hope that the newsletter creates a better awareness of the different teaching styles now being used at St. Thomas, and expresses some of the ideas of your peers and their perspectives as professors at St. Thomas. Teaching Perspectives is published bi-annually. The next issue will be published in the spring of 2001. Those of us editing this edition hope that you find it enjoyable and at the same time informative. We would appreciate any feedback or submissions you may have for the next issue. Christopher Ings
