Special Merit
Awards Call For Nominations
Special Merit
Awards
Nominations of
St.Thomas University faculty members, full or part time, for a Special
Merit Award, are invited for the 2001-2002 academic year.
Guidelines for
Selecting Candidates
- Any faculty
member, full or part time, is eligible to receive a special merit
award.
- Although a
special merit award is normally presented in recognition of individuals
who make outstanding contributions in the year in which the award
is made, this in no way is intended to
exclude achievements which represent the culmination of several years
work.
- The nomination
and recognition of faculty not already so honoured should be recognized.
- The names of
nominees not selected will remain before the Committee for three years.
Nomination Procedures
- Any member of
the St.Thomas University community may make a nomination.
- Nominations
are to in the form of a letter to Dr. Richard Myers, Vice-President
(Academic). Nominations should include documentation of the achievements
to be considered for this Special Merit Award.
- Deadline for
submission of letter of nomination - March 1.
