Surprisingly enough, there was no dearth of tulips in Ottawa.

Kodak even told us where to stand to take pictures . . .

There were beds of various kinds at Dow's Lake.


And even a guide sheet to tell us which were which.

These were at Major's Park downtown, though:

It's a little fuzzy (bad camera, eh?), but the kids were more colorful than the tulips:

And there were some special varieties at the Experimental Farm Botanical Garden.

And really, they were more interesting . . .
