The kitchen
was, well, sort of ready, almost.
The tent
arrived on the front lawn on Thursday.
Balloons
and other necessary accoutrements --
and out-of-town guests -- began pouring in.
Solemnization began as guests
arrived at the church . . .
The ceremony
left hardly a dry eye in the house.
Afterward we gathered in the sunshine and people took
pictures.
The dinner at the Mactaquac Inn
was indescribable.
The cake . . .
well, no one could believe it tasted even better than it looked.
And then we all went out to the tent
on Keswick Ridge.
Afterward, things quieted
down.
The next day, there was breakfast
under the balloons . . .
