Of the three BMW motorcycles I have owned (the first two were K bikes), this one is my favourite. I purchased it new in 1994 and, over the last six years, have made a number of modifications in the (fruitless and obsessional) pursuit of perfection. |

| The changes include a K&N air filter together with a Two Brothers slip-on exhaust, Ohlins shocks both front and rear, and a somewhat modified paint scheme complemented by a seat recovered (and reshaped) in black. I am very pleased with the results, enough so that I think I've got both a finished project and a keeper. |  |
